Exhibition at the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine, Paris, 15 October 2013 - 17 February 2014

This exhibition catalogue demonstrates how the Art Deco style, born in France, seduced the world and how numerous French architects and interior designers were called on 1930s major international projects.
This study is composed of four parts: the first one recalls the sources of Art Deco, the second one is devoted to 1925 Exhibition and its influence, the third and fourth ones study respectively the movement in France - notably through liners and 1937 Universal Exposition -, and French Art Deco worldwide, from Brussels to North Africa, Asia and America.
