This book presents the work of five French designers who worked for the airline company Air France from 1933 to 1994, both for the interior design of the planes and for the decoration of travel agencies or airports: Charlotte Perriand for the air terminal in Le Bourget in the 1930s, then for the agencies in Tokyo, Osaka, London, Rio de Janeiro, etc. from 1952, Jean Prouvé for an habitation unit in Brazzaville and two hotels in 1950, Pierre Gautier-Delaye in 1970 for Air France Agency in the 5th Avenue in New York, Raymond Loewy in 1972 for the interior design of the Concorde cabin and for the salon in Roissy airport, and Andrée Putman for the Concorde interior design in 1994.
