Exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Rouen, 11. July - 15. November, 2020

Throughout his life, François Depeaux (1853-1920) was intensely passionate about Impressionism, collecting nearly 600 works including more than 60 Sisleys, 20 Monets, but also Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Pissarro, and a large ensemble of the École de Rouen. The entrance of the donation Depeaux to the Rouen Museum of Fine Arts in 1909 was a considerable event for Impressionism. This catalogue, published on the occasion of the first exhibition dedicated to François Depeaux, allows to measure the breadth of a collection, today dispersed in museums around the world.
