Surrealist painter Jean Auguste Marembert (1900-1968) exhibited his works at the Salon d'Automne, at the Salon des Indépendants and Surindépendants, and in numerous art galleries, including the group Les Réverbères. He also worked on etchings, wood engraving and lithograph, and collaborated, as illustrator, to various reviews, among which Sagesse, and to newspapers and books.
