With more than 450 pieces from the 15th to the 19th century, Christian and Alexius Feit's collection of Spanish earthenware is renowned as the best produced, comprehensive collection outside of Spain. The authors have contributed to the discovery of Spanish ceramics through their papers in the German review Keramos and through exhibitions in Brussels and Paris.
This volume offers introductory texts to the decorative and technical aspects, and a selection of over 320 exhibits of the Feit Collection, including for each of them depictions of the undersides, of the markings, and a basis of comparison with regards to form and relevant decoration.
