Exhibition at the Musée des beaux-arts de Tours, 21 November 2015 - 22 February 2016
More than a hundred works reveal in this exhibition catalogue the stages of the painter Louis-François Cassas' two great journeys in Italy, from Turin to Trieste, in Tuscany, in Sicily, in Campania and in Rome where he resided for a long time thanks to his patrons, the Duke Chabot and the Count of Choiseul-Gouffier. These great lovers and collectors were responsible for the development of the artist's career.
