The influence of Jean Prouvé (1901-1984) remains significant in twentieth-century architecture and industrial design. Many of his works have become landmarks and continue to influence designers today.
With five previously unpublished essays, this exhibition catalogue offers a comprehensive introduction to Prouvé's work, presenting his original works, drawings and other documents that survive to this day. It includes over a hundred emblematic pieces of furniture and architecture, including pieces from the collections of Yusaku Maezawa, Patrick Seguin, Tamotsu Yagi and the Prouvé family, accompanied by numerous archive documents.
