The story of the Valloires gardens, designed by landscape architect Gilles Clément and laid out in the mid-1980s around the ruins of an ancient abbey. Mixing alignment in beds, designed parts and wild areas, they are home to a rose garden, perennials, grasses and decorative vegetables as well as a botanical collection inherited from Jean-Louis Cousin's nurseries.
