Famous London shop created in 1875, Liberty & Co. has been the first to sell Arts-and-Crafts furniture. This artistic movement, born in Great Britain at the end of the 19th century, is the artists' reaction to the new society of industrial time. By buying directly from the Soho craftsmen, Liberty has managed to obtain the most beautiful pieces of the time.

Based on archives, press papers and Liberty's own catalogues, Daryl Benner explains the main characteristics and the evolution of this aesthetic from 1875 to 1915. He puts the light on Leonard Wyburd's work (1865-1958), a worldwide known artist of the Arts and Crafts movment.
