Nadia Léger (1904-1982) was Russian, painter, communist and billionaire. She created an impactful and remarkably modern work, overshadowed by the fame of Fernand Léger, her husband, to whom she dedicated her life.
A pupil of Strzeminski, Malevich, Ozenfant and Léger, her realisations went through the main painting movements, from Suprematism and Cubism to the 1950s Socialist realism.
This book is the first one to pay tribute to Nadia Léger's unknown talent.
