Deceased at 31, Rembrandt Bugatti (1884-1916) worked less than 15 years but left nonetheless more than 300 sculptures. The modernity of his Cubist shapes and the strength of his Fauve touch announced very early the Art deco style.
After a critical study drawn on period documents, Véronique Fromanger realises in this book a new version of the catalogue raisonné of Bugatti's work.
