The French painter and engraver Bernard Buffet became rapidly famous. His palette, which was first limited to variations of grey and beige, grew to many different colors.

Thanks to colorful and big reproductions, this magnificent monograph in 2 volumes allows a precise study of the evolution of Bernard Buffet's works. The first volume is devoted to the years 1943-1961, the second one to the period 1962-1981.
