Following on from previous editions of Carrés d'Art, this book is an inventory of the Hermès carrés produced between 1937 and 2024. It covers classic scarves with a square cut, mainly in silk or silk twill, and varying in size from 70 cm to 100 cm square.

This volume includes the data on the classic Hermès collection scarves contained in the database of the edition published in 2020, plus corrections, updated values and more than 220 newly introduced scarves: those discovered among the previous editions and the scarves published between 2020 and 2024, including new and reinterpreted designs. All the carrés are photographed and accompanied by a series of indications, including the name of the carré and the illustrator, the date of its first edition and any re-editions.
