The second of the four volumes of this catalogue raisonne of Jean Prouvé covers the creations from 1934 to 1944. The Jean Prouvé Workshops work for Tony Garnier, for the Town-Hall of Boulogne-Billancourt and initiated its collaboration with Marcel Lods for the Cité de la Muette at Drancy and the Maisons du Peuple at Clichy (1932-1939). From 1939 to 1944, the Prouvé Workshops collaborate with Pierre Janneret, design and produce wooden furniture and prefabricated buildings with central portal frames.
