Among the great furniture collections shown in Paris, at Versailles, in New York or in other capitals, the Louvre collection is obviously the richest and the most admired. It has never been properly published. This publication needed the contribution of qualified art historians and the realization of an important high quality iconography. More than 200 masterpieces are reproduced on the whole and with chosen details.
