Exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler, Riehen/Basel, 24 May – 13 September 2026

Pierre Huyghe (1962–) is regarded as one of the most radical contemporary artists. His large-scale works take the form of speculative fictions that challenge our perception of reality and consciousness.

This book, published to mark the artist’s solo exhibition at the Beyeler Foundation, is not a catalogue of works in the traditional sense. Far from being a documentary overview, it offers a unique ‘mental journey’. The book combines images and research on his recent works with sketches, notes and text fragments. A tangle of ideas and images through which one can navigate, reflecting the creative process. A visual archive exploring Huyghe’s complex universe.
