Schiaparelli Anglomaniac

Nouveauté

Auteur(s) : Thierry-Maxime Loriot (dir.)

Since Daniel Roseberry joined Schiaparelli, his unique creative vision has inspired a vast network of British talent across the fields of photography, illustration, performance, fashion writing, hairdressing and make-up. Spanning disciplines and generations, these artists draw inspiration from the work of a single creative mind whilst asserting their own perspectives. Their images and interventions reinterpret and subvert the established conventions of both the fashion house and the industry, thereby celebrating diversity, creativity and technical mastery.

This book explores the creative dialogue between the House of Schiaparelli and a community of over 50 British artists, photographers, stylists and image-makers. It includes numerous previously unpublished images and works of art, presented here for the first time. Among the figures featured are photographers Cecil Beaton and Norman Parkinson, established artists such as Nick Knight, Tim Walker and Pat McGrath, as well as a new generation including Nadine Ijewere, Campbell Addy, Felix Cooper, Nadia Lee Cohen, Jack Davison, Tom Craig and Harley Weir.
