Yves Saint Laurent et la photographie

Auteur(s) : Collectif
Yves Saint Laurent collaborated with some of the greatest photographers of the 20th century. For more than four decades, until the closure of his fashion house in 2002, Saint Laurent and his creations were immortalised by leading photographers, including legends such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, David Bailey, Helmut Newton, William Klein, Sarah Moon, Annie Leibovitz, Paolo Roversi and Juergen Teller, giving rise to iconic images that helped shape his image and that of his brand.
This book sheds new light on the world of the genius couturier, tracing both the evolution of fashion and the history of 20th-century photography. It offers a rich array of images: fashion photographs featuring Audrey Hepburn, Catherine Deneuve, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, portraits of Saint Laurent and previously unpublished archival documents.
