This exhibition catalogue presents objects brought back by Eugène Delacroix from his trip to North Africa in 1832, in relation to works (paintings, drawings and engravings) in which he chose to represent them, thus allowing an analysis of the realistic and phantasmagorical part of the artist's Orientalist work.
