Jeffrey Alan Marks: This Is Home

Recognised as one of America's most influential designers, Jeffrey Alan Marks is frequently featured in Elle Decor, AD, Vogue Living and House Beautiful. The designer believes that a home should reflect the way its inhabitants want to live, their unique perspective and the way they approach their lives. Trained in England, Marks has long had a deep architectural love affair with the British vernacular, which creates a pleasing interplay with his Southern Californian roots. The result: homes that feel layered and spectacular, but still comfortable.

Since the launch of his first book, Jeffrey Alan Marks has married and become a father. His growing family forms the basis of this new book, which celebrates the idea of home as represented in ten of his designs, including his 1925 beach house in Montecito, a resort in the Bahamas, a horse farm in Los Angeles and his new family home in Greenwich, Connecticut.
