From the 1960s, engraving became an increasingly important part of the artistic production of Wifredo Lam (1902-1982) to become his favourite means of expression.
This catalogue raisonné presents Lam's whole graphic production, from his first etching realized for Voyages à travers la peinture by Pierre Loeb in 1945 to his last collaboration with poet Jean-Dominique Rey in 1980. Each of the 402 listed etchings is reproduced in colour and accompanied by a technical note.
