RARE BOOK

The work of Pierre Soulages (1919 -2022) was very early internationally recognized as one of the most important ones of the second half of the 20th century. The Centre Pompidou in Paris organised a retrospective in 2009, and Rodez, his native city, inaugurated in May 2014 a museum to house the artist's works.

This first volume of Soulages's catalogue raisonné by Pierre Encrevé gather all the artist's works realised between 1946 and 1957.
