This exhibition presents a selection of zoomometric drawings and casts by Antoine-Louis Barye, from the collection acquired by the School for educational purposes, upon the artist's death in 1876. They reveal the artist's great interest in science and his obsession with measurements and proportions, and show the extent to which Barye was rooted in his era, rich in great expeditions and the discovery, in Paris, of animals from all over the world.
