This exhibition catalogue retraces the career and artistic and philosophical influences that fed artist Giorgio De Chirico (1888-1978) from Munich to Turin, then in Paris where he discovered pictural avant-gardes of his time, then in Ferrara. The connections of the painter, discovered by Apollinaire then supported by art dealer Paul Guillaume, with Parisian cultural and literary circles are highlighted in this book.
