The former Sicilian monastery Villa Elena, near Noto, has been restored by Jacques Garcia. Testifying to the decorator's passion for ancient civilizations, the estate, whose panorama extends to the sea and Syracuse, blends ancient, Arab and Norman influences with Renaissance and Baroque influences, mirrors Sicilian history.

This book, illustrated with photos taken during the four seasons, reveals for the first time the restoration and decoration of Villa Elena.
