Born in 1912, Raphaël Raffel was an inexhaustible decorator. After his studies in the French school “les Beaux-Arts”, Raphaël settles as a decorator in 1934 and, even if he answers to the private orders in the spirit of his era, he knows how to value a very individual new touch. The post-war period confirms the lightness which emerges from his creations and Raphaël achieves more free curves which are his personal “trademark”.
