A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Valence, sculptor Serge Landois (1961-) won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1987 and spent two years at the Villa Medici, where he further developed his artistic practice. Abstract in appearance, forged or drawn, his sculptures often incorporate figurative elements in motion and defy the laws of balance.
This monograph is a true reflection of Landois' artistic career and his sculptural universe. It offers both a journey through his work and a tribute to his unwavering commitment to the art of sculpture.
