The fifth and final volume of the catalogue raisonné of Soulages' painted work (1919-2022) brings together one hundred and ninety-five works produced between 31 May 2013 and 22 May 2022, testifying to the vitality and creativity that animated the artist until the end of his life. This volume, which also includes an illustrated biography, was produced under the supervision of Colette Soulages, the artist's widow, who wrote the preface, and under the direction of Camille Morando and Alfred Pacquement, who take over from Pierre Encrevé, author of the first four volumes, who died in 2019.

This work presents the last decade of the work of one of France's greatest contemporary artists, who died in 2022 at the age of 102.
