As Malraux took over as head of a new Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the manufactures called on renowned artists to be associated with their projects for the first time.

Drawing on the collections of the Mobilier national, this catalogue brings together tapestries from the 1960s and 1970s made from cartoons by renowned artists.
